As a business attorney for the past nine years, I have been fortunate to counsel an extensive array of privately-held businesses and high net worth individuals through a spectrum of civil legal matters, while also giving careful consideration to the client’s overall business and financial goals. Through this broad experience, I now act as outside counsel for virtually all phases of a client’s business and also meet individual’s civil legal needs. Experience as an attorney is of little value without results, and I deliver consistent success for my clients due to excellent legal writing, well-planned strategy and strong arguments, creative yet practical approach to resolution, and dedication to maintaining lasting professional relationships.

My practice areas include business litigation, corporate transactions, employment law, health care law, intellectual property, real estate disputes and landlord-tenant issues, contractual disputes, construction defect, bankruptcy adversary proceedings, personal injury, collection actions, and general counsel work for businesses as if I were their internal counsel. My regular performance of corporate transactional matters includes the life-span of a business from formation and creation to drafting, negotiating, and reviewing contracts and business agreements, consulting on general day-to-day legal and business decisions, and positioning for an exit strategy.

Civil litigation is the mainstay of my practice, representing clients as either plaintiff or defendant from multi-million dollar complex litigation to smaller limited civil matters. This wide range of litigation experience has allowed me to see what causes legal breakdowns in the first place and what risk management actions should be taken beforehand. Seeing the law from this angle provides greater insight when counseling corporate clients on transactional issues and general matters to strengthen their position and preemptively avoid unnecessary litigation. As the case may be, lawsuits may be unavoidable or necessary, and I vigorously represent my clients through litigation to trial and collection on the judgment.

A southern California native, I graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and emphases in Entrepreneurship, Finance, and Leadership, and a minor in Law and Society. While at USC, I was recognized as part of the Order of Troy, a prestigious award for excellence in academics, service and leadership. Following my passion for law, I then graduated from Pepperdine University School of Law and completed a Certificate in the Palmer Center for Entrepreneurship and the Law and served as an editor for the Palmer Center’s Journal. I was also President of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity and engaged in a selective summer study-tour to China to promote, study, and develop international Alternative Dispute Resolution for businesses and foreign investment.

For the past nine years, I have felt truly grateful to call Manhattan Beach my home. I enjoy connecting with my community through groups such as 310 Young Professionals and as a board member of the USC Alumni Club of the LA Beach Cities. I also enjoy promoting the USC Trojan Family by acting as Chapter Advisor for my fraternity, serving as a board member for a non-profit group to assist, benefit, and educate USC’s Greek System, and also organizing the largest private tailgate for all home football games.

In my free time, I enjoy playing beach volleyball, standup paddle boarding, hiking/trail running, snowboarding, practicing meditation, and being an avid fan of Formula 1 and other international and domestic motorsport racing series.
