For over a decade, I have been fortunate to act as the trusted legal adviser and partner to a broad spectrum of privately-held businesses, high net worth individuals, and employees that have been wronged by their employer. Experience as an attorney is of little value without results, but I deliver consistent success for my clients through excellent legal writing, well-planned strategy and negotiation, creative yet practical approaches to resolution, legal versatility amongst various disciplines, reliable communication, and dedication to lasting professional relationships. I’m passionate about helping my clients, and the consistent appreciation I receive from them makes being a business and employment attorney an honor.

The bulk of my practice is split between acting as a versatile corporate and litigation counsel to businesses on the one side, while representing and counseling employees on the other. As general counsel, I advise business clients throughout their life-span, from ideation and formation, through to funding and positioning for an exit strategy, both in transactions and in litigation. Whether the business is a single entrepreneur, a start-up tech firm, a services provider, or a well-established corporation with hundreds of employees, I provide day-to-day legal counsel on corporate formation and agreements, employment issues, real estate and leases, contract drafting and negotiation, intellectual property, and collections, while also representing the client in disputes or lawsuits in each of these areas.

When representing employees, I select the right cases to litigate where there are legitimate claims against the employer in the areas of wage and hour disputes, wrongful termination, retaliation, discrimination, payroll, and other improper employment practices. Aside from litigation, I also regularly counsel employees on employment offers, restrictive covenants, and severance agreements.

Growing up in Southern California, I graduated from USC majoring in Business with multiple emphases in Entrepreneurship, Finance, and Leadership and minoring in Law and Society. At USC, I was honored with being selected to the Order of Troy, a prestigious award for excellence in academics, service, and leadership. Following my passion for law, I then graduated from Pepperdine University School of Law and completed a Certificate in the Palmer Center for Entrepreneurship and the Law and served as an editor for the Palmer Center’s Legal Journal. At Pepperdine Law, I was also President of the Phi Alpha Delta Honors Law Fraternity and engaged in a selective summer study program in China to promote, study, and develop international Alternative Dispute Resolution processes for businesses and foreign investment.

Since 2007, I have felt truly grateful to call Manhattan Beach my home. I have enjoyed connecting with the community through groups such as the USC Alumni Club of the LA Beach Cities as a board member and 310 Young Professionals. I also enjoy participating as an active board member for a non-profit group to assist, benefit, and educate USC’s Greek System.

When I’m not working or volunteering, I’m standup paddle boarding, snowboarding, playing beach volleyball, hiking/trail running, golfing, practicing meditation, and being an avid fan of Formula 1 and other international motorsport racing series.
