To me, being an attorney is all about creative problem solving. I always strive to think outside the box to resolve issues while never losing sight of the big picture goals of the client.
I have been fortunate enough to obtain experience in various aspects of the law which allows me to have a unique perspective on issues. I have worked as both in-house counsel for a corporation as well as an associate attorney for a large litigation firm.
I have substantial civil litigation experience and have obtained successful jury verdicts on behalf of my clients. However, my favorite area of practice is helping small businesses and entrepreneurs navigate various legal issues that arise on a daily basis so they can focus on turning their passion into their livelihood.
On a personal note, I am a Midwestern girl at heart. I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado and moved to Kansas City, Kansas in high school. I then attended University of Kansas where I double majored in Journalism and Psychology and became an avid Jayhawk basketball fan.
Shortly after graduating from University of Kansas I set my sights on warmer climates and moved to Los Angeles to attend Southwestern Law School. While at Southwestern I was a board member of the Women’s Law Association and the Student Bar Association. I am still active in the Southwestern community and have served on the Alumni board.
When I am not in the office, I am most likely traveling with my husband to his hometown of Sydney, Australia or enjoying the California lifestyle and running on the beach, hiking at Runyon Canyon, wine tasting in Napa or skiing in Mammoth.
